IT Manager

We are seeking a full time competent IT Manager to manage our firm wide IT requirements and CMS (Partner 4 Windows) between Gravesend and Maidstone offices.  Reporting to the firm’s Senior Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, on-going maintenance and support of its bespoke CMS alongside other applications used firm wide. The role will involve the development, installation, implementation and user testing of new applications and upgrades, full support and training where required, overseeing and monitoring the entire network and IT server to ensure optimal performance as well as full provision and maintenance of the firm’s printer, scanning and photocopying facilities.
The ideal candidate should have a background within the legal sector either working with another law firm or a supplier into the sector possibly as a DBA or Technical Consultant and will need the following technical skills: SQL Server (DBA) FlieSite/WorkSite. An understanding of the installation and configuration of Mitel Telephone systems would be advantageous. 

Technical Skills required:
- Windows Server (2000/2003/2008)
- SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008)
- Scripting (VBA)
- NET Technologies

Private Client Solicitor

We require an experienced and highly skilled Solicitor to Join our busy Private Client Department. You will have proven expertise spanning private client and estates planning matters. You will have extensive background and knowledge in:

• Wills, Trust and Probate
• Estate and Care Fees Planning
• Wills and Will Writing
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and Trust Administration
• Probate and Administration of Estates
• Inheritance Tax Planning and Investments

The candidate should have several years’ experience as a Solicitor and be able to work within a busy team as well as manage a large and varied caseload.

Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

We require an experienced and highly skilled senior solicitor to join our busy conveyancing department. The role will entail dealing with a full and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:

      - Freehold/leasehold sales and purchases
      -Transfers of equity
      - Remortgages
      - Stamp duty procedures
      - Title checking
      - Searches
      - Enquiries, and dealing with all matters generally through to completion. 

The candidate should have extensive (5 +Years PQE preferable) residential conveyancing experience/knowledge within a similar environment and be able to manage their own caseload of files with minimal supervision. This is a busy role, individuals must be able to prioritise work, use initiative and work proactively, coupled with a good client manner and technical competence.  Commercial conveyancing experience would be advantageous but not essential. Competitive salary.

Junior Legal Secretary

We require a Junior Legal Secretary on a full time, short term contract in our Maidstone office. Candidates must have ILEX experience and preferably 6-12 months previous experience of working in a law firm.  The role will mainly be opening client entities, along with other duties such as; archiving, typing and general administration.  Partner knowledge would be advantageous.
