Evening Legal Secretary

We require an evening legal secretary to join our team in Gravesend. Candidates must have secretarial experience within a legal environment, coupled with excellent I.T. skills and experience of digital dictation. Knowledge of Partner 4 Windows would be advantageous, although not essential. In addition experience of Conveyancing would be an advantage but not essential. This is a busy role and requires a highly organised and motivated individual with solid experience. Market Salary.

Private Client Partner

We require an experienced and highly skilled Partner to manage and further develop our busy Private Client Department. You will have proven expertise spanning private client and estates planning matters. You will have extensive background and knowledge in:

• Wills, Trust and Probate
• Estate and Care Fees Planning
• Wills and Will Writing
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and Trust Administration
• Probate and Administration of Estates
• Inheritance Tax Planning and Investments

The candidate should have several years’ experience as a Partner and be able to manage a busy team as well as large and varied caseload.

Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Conveyancing Legal Secretary

We require a full time Conveyancing legal secretary to join our team in Gravesend. Candidates must have residential conveyancing experience within a legal environment, coupled with excellent I.T. skills and experience of digital dictation. Knowledge of Partner 4 Windows would be advantageous, although not essential. This is a busy role and requires a highly organised and motivated individual with solid conveyancing experience. Conveyancing Solicitor

Our Conveyancing Department require a skilled residential conveyancer ideally with commercial conveyancing experience.

The candidate should have several years’ experience and be able to manage a large caseload with little supervision. 

The position involves dealing with leasehold/freehold transactions. This an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. IT literacy is essential, although secretarial support is allocated to this position.

Archivist

We are seeking a full time experienced Archivist to provide an efficient and friendly service to the Firm, with primary responsibility for all archiving and stationery requirements. 

Candidates shortlisted for this role must have previous electronic archiving experience, be proficient in Excel and be able to use initiative and work unattended.  Duties will include maintaining the archive database, ordering boxes from storage and informing fee earners/secretaries on arrival, logging and boxing documents and files for storage, monitoring the Firm stationery supplies, placing orders (with approval), distributing stationery as necessary and maintaining relevant stock cupboards.  Various databases will need to be created and updated daily to record all deeds movement, so accuracy, a good eye for detail and organisation skills are essential. 

The role is predominantly Gravesend based however travel may be required to and from our Maidstone office, therefore a car is essential.

Experienced Legal Cashier

We are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier for our busy accounts department.

Experience with Partner 4 Windows case management system would be an advantage but not necessary. The position will involve postings, accounting functions banking, reconciliations and archiving Files, Wills and Deeds etc.

We offer a limited number of work experience opportunities for students which provides an opportunity to experience a number of aspects of life in a law firm.
